Administrators can import many External Numbers at once using the Add External Numbers - File option. Use the downloadable template to build a list of External Numbers. Once imported your can use AVOXI Number Testing to ensure your numbers are always available.

Preparing your CSV file
CSV files (comma-separated values) are plain-text files that make it easier to index and organize large amounts of data which can then be easily imported into a spreadsheet or database. Administrators can use a CSV file to export phone number information from other systems and import into AVOXI for Number Testing
Creating a CSV Import File
Below is the template to use to bulk import External Numbers for testing in the AVOXI platform

- Phone Number: The phone number to configure. Should be a valid E.164 format number. Numbers already in your AVOXI inventory will be rejected during import
- Country Code: Must be a valid ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code. If country code is provided but does not match country prefix of the number, the system will flag that it may be invalid, but the number can still be added. Tests will not be initiated successfully if the number format is not valid for the country code imported. If a country is not provided, the system will provide its best estimation of the correct country code based on the number provided.
- Number Type: Optional . If provided, Must be one of the following five types: ITFS, DTF, DID, Mobile, National. If a number type is provided and it isn't one of these five, the number will be flagged and the user will be asked to choose one of the supported types. If a number type is not provided, our system will provide its best number type approximation for the number.
- Friendly Name: User-friendly label for the number. Recommended to be 30 characters or shorter. Max imported length 255 characters.

Importing New External Numbers
- Log in as an Administrator
- Select the Numbers section in the Manage section of the navigation bar
- From the Add menu, choose Add External Number
- Under Add number(s) from another carrier for testing, choose Upload CSV
- Upload your CSV file by simply dragging and dropping the file or selecting upload
. - When complete, choose Continue to proceed with your external number configuration
NOTE: Up to 10000 numbers can be uploaded in one file. File must be <5MB.
