What is a DNI/CIF?

Spanish citizens possess a fundamental identification document known as the DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad), serving as a NIF (Número de Identificación Fiscal) for individuals. However, upon establishing a company, they are required to apply for an additional identification number referred to as the CIF (Código de Identificación Fiscal).
