To ensure a smooth experience with AVOXI, please refer to the below list of requirements and best practices for using and configuring your Contact Center platform.
OPERATING ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Support Operating Systems
Avoid using AVOXI on your tablet or mobile device, as AVOXI is meant for primary use on a desktop or laptop. In addition, some features will not work correctly, such as auto-rotate where the visibility is limited, missing call logs in the Activity tab, and poor audio quality, to name a few.

AVOXI works best on Google Chrome but is also compatible with Firefox Browser and Edge Browser.
Memory
4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB RAM recommended).Hard Disk Space: 500 MB hard drive space (required to install Google Chrome).
Operating System
Mac OS — OS X Yosemite 10.10 or later, Windows— 7, 8, 10 or later, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Device.
Connection:
Voice calls – 150 kbps on download and upload per call (i.e., If you have 3 agents on calls simultaneously, then you will need 450 kbps/0.44 Mbps for your calls on top of whatever is required data traffic as well).
Sound Adapter
Full-duplex, 16-bit, or use USB/ 3/4mm headphone jack.
VPN
Using a VPN or a shared server/Remote Desktop such as Citrix or Microsoft can restrict some connections to the wweb phone
WEBPHONE REQUIREMENTS
For an agent to use the webphone, AVOXI must have access to that user’s audio devices, Which include the microphone and speaker for talking and listening during a call. In addition, for the best AVOXI experience, a supported browser should also be used. If any of these conditions are not met, a notification will display on the webphone alerting the user of the issue and how to resolve it.
Microphone Settings
Have you allowed your microphone and notification access on your Chrome browser?
Enable Call Notifications
To enable AVOXI to call notifications, ensure you’ve allowed them in your Chrome browser. This can be done by selecting the lock icon in the URL address bar and selecting Allow next to Notifications.
Audio Devices
It’s crucial to ensure you allow audio for both the microphone and headset; a step-by-step guide can be found here: Setup your headset on Windows and Mac.
Microphone Access
Ensure to give AVOXI permission to access your microphone. More information on allowing microphone access can be found here: Setup your Browsers to work with AVOXI.
Sound Permission
To use your sound with apps on Windows 10, you’ll need to turn on some permissions in Camera settings. To do such additional information can be found here!
BEST PRACTICES
Multiple Tabs:
AVOXI does not allow multiple tabs to be open at the same time. Once you open a second tab for your AVOXI login, your status will automatically change to offline.
Hard Fresh:
A hard refresh clears the browser’s cache for a specific page, forcing it to load the most recent version, including changes to stylesheets or other scrips. Sometimes when a website is updated, the changes are not seen immediately because the browser is still using an older version of the page, which helps the browser load pages faster.
