The Geographic Report provides geolocation analytics to help you see where your calls are coming from and going, along with several call performance metrics around the globe.
To view:
- Select Analytics from the left-hand navigation menu
- Select the Geographic report
Filters
- Direction — Filter by call direction
- All — The map and table will display metrics for all calls, both inbound and outbound.
- Inbound — Displays data for inbound calls only
- Outbound — Displays data for outbound calls only
- Numbers — View data for a specific number or set of numbers
- Countries — View data for a specific country or set of countries
- Billing Group* — View data associated with a specific Billing Group
- *Must have the Billing Group feature enabled.
Heatmap
The heatmap provides a visual of the volume of calls coming from or going to each respective country. Countries with higher call traffic will appear in a darker gradient than those with lower traffic.
- Hover over a country to see its name and the total calls associated with it.
Snapshot
The Snapshot provides additional details about call traffic associated with the selected country. To view the Snapshot, click on a country on the heatmap. The Snapshot will then populate data for the selected country based on the call direction filter.
- Numbers Owned — how many AVOXI numbers you have in the selected country
- Total Calls — total number of calls associated with the selected country
- % of all Calls — the percentage of calls associated with the selected country out of all calls that occurred

Top Call Traffic — view top traffic by city or by number
- City — view the top 10 cities with the highest traffic in the selected country
- Calls from the top cities may originate from or terminate in multiple area codes. For example, calls originating from or terminating to 678, 470, and 404 area codes are all associated with Atlanta.
- AVOXI Number — the AVOXI numbers making calls to or receiving calls from the selected country
- City — view the top 10 cities with the highest traffic in the selected country
Call Traffic Table
The call traffic table displays data by country or area code based on the selected filter(s).
Country
Select the ‘Country’ toggle on the Call Traffic table to view call metrics by country.
- Country — Name of the country where calls are coming from, going to, or both
- Clicking on a country will take users to the Company Activity page filtered to the selected country
- Country Code
- Numbers Owned — count of AVOXI numbers you own in that country
- Clicking on numbers owned takes you to the Numbers report filtered to the selected country
- Total Calls — number of calls for this country
- Clicking on the call volume takes you to the Company Activity page filtered to the selected country
- Avg Duration — the average duration of calls for this country
- Total Duration — the total duration of calls for this country
- ASR — answer-seizure ratio for calls in this country
- AVG MOS – average MOS score by country
Unknown Country
In some cases, we are unable to associate a call with a particular country or region. This could mean that the number dialed either had too many or too few digits, or the prefix associated with the number dialed is not assigned to a particular country or region. In these cases, the call will fall under ‘Unknown’ on the Call Traffic table.
Area Code
To view call metrics by area code, select the ‘Area Code’ toggle on the Call Traffic table.
- Area Code — the prefix associated with the number dialed. This indicates the country dialed along with the region or number type.
- Region — the region, city, or number type associated with the given area code
- Country Code
- Numbers Owned — count of AVOXI numbers you own in that country
- This does NOT indicate the count of AVOXI numbers associated with the selected area code.
- Clicking on numbers owned takes you to the Numbers report filtered to the selected country.
- Total Calls — number of calls for this country
- Clicking on the call volume takes you to the Company Activity page filtered to the selected country.
- Avg Duration — the average duration of calls for this country
- Total Duration — the total duration of calls for this country
- ASR — answer-seizure ratio for calls in this country
- AVG MOS – average MOS score by country
- Green = Good (MOS ≥4)
- Yellow = Fair (MOS = 3.5-3.99)
- Red = Poor (MOS <3.5)
Regional Data
City-level and regional data is only available on calls taking place after January 16, 2024.
Alerts
The call traffic table includes color-coded indicators on certain metrics (average call duration, ASR) to indicate when that metric value is close to or has met a configured alert threshold. Must have alerts configured. Click here to learn more about alerts.
- Yellow - shows when an alert threshold is close to being met
- Red - shows when an alert threshold has been met
