Contact Center Updates
- Fixed an issue that would prevent calls from being connected to an Agent when the Agent was not reachable
- In certain conditions, unreachable Agents will now be marked Disconnected if a Team call fails to ring them (e.g. webphone lost connectivity, mobile app in DND mode, etc). Agents that do successfully ring but are simply not answering will not be affected.
- This will allow the Skills-based routing and Least Used ring strategies to select another Agent instead of continuing to attempt those unreachable Agents
- Customers may have seen this in the form of calls waiting a long time in queue or a very high number of unanswered calls
- In certain conditions, unreachable Agents will now be marked Disconnected if a Team call fails to ring them (e.g. webphone lost connectivity, mobile app in DND mode, etc). Agents that do successfully ring but are simply not answering will not be affected.
