Why Don't the Minutes in My Numbers Report Match My Invoice?

Small differences between the minutes shown in your Genius Numbers Report and the totals on your invoice are expected, and usually come down to two things:

  1. Rounding: AVOXI bills using standard telecom rounding (60/60 billing), and due to rounding, subtotals can differ slightly from detail totals. Any rounding difference is called out separately as its own line item on your invoice.
  2. Billing timing: AVOXI bills most subscription (recurring) charges in advance and most usage/call charges in arrears, so the time window covered by a report and the time window covered by an invoice line aren't always identical.

If you need a single source of truth to share with stakeholders, we recommend using the invoice as the billing record of reference and the Numbers Report for traffic trends, rather than expecting the two to reconcile to the exact minute.

If a specific discrepancy looks larger than normal rounding/timing would explain, open a support case with the account number and the time period in question so billing can investigate the specific charges. This can be done through your online Support Portal
